Artist Luisa Cleaves gathers inspiration from her Argentinean roots and channels the cool South American vibe into her unique and colorful pieces. Luisa is a true artist working in a variety of areas from illustration to painting, and also jewelry design. Luisa is based in Cape Ann, the home of Wicked Peacock’s new retail store, but has had her work exhibited in galleries including “Lapis” in New York City and W.E.B. in Boston.

Luisa Cleaves

Argentinean critics sing the praises of this New England artist whose illustrations decorated the title page of “Imagine,” a book of poetry written by women from countries around the world. Luisa’s work is totally international – Central America, South America, Europe and the United States are all countries that call her pieces home.
