Spring Trends–Mixed-Metal Fabulousness!

This spring is metal-heavy, and nothing says it better than liquid metals. Popularized by designer Sergio Gutierrez, liquid metal jewelry is part ball-chain, part magic! Seen here, a dress and necklace made from liquid metal jewelry. AMAZING!

Liquid Metal

Mixing metals is totally chic, adding texture, depth and tone to almost any look. Try mixing rose gold with silver, gunmetal with yellow gold, or clashing silver and brass. If you’re afraid to mix your metals, it’s OK, start small by wearing a few mixed-metal bangle bracelets, or a pair of silver earrings and a thin gold necklace and see how you feel. For a BOLD look, mix-up your rings, wearing alternate silver and gold on multiple fingers.

 Circular Jewelry

Circles are FABULOUS and all the rage. An everlasting symbol of eternity and unity, circles are without beginning or end and remind us of our wholeness. You’ll find circular designs in all sorts of jewelry this season—necklaces, bracelets, and earrings! Circles within circles, large circles linked to smaller circles, doubled-up circles, and chandelier circle designs. Circular jewelry looks great on everyone, and makes the perfect gift because of its versatility.

Geometric Jewelry

Brass is BIG this season and so are geometric, modern lines. Simple and completely wearable, geometric jewelry is perfect for casual Friday and weekend getaways. Pair with a slouchy sweater and wild leggings or with a tee-shirt, leather fringe vest and booties. Because of the simplicity of design, geometric jewelry works with almost every style. You can layer geometric necklaces with long beaded strands or wear alone as a single statement.
