Wicked Peacock prides itself on working with emerging talent—designers, bloggers, make-up artists, stylists, models, fashion-forward movers + shakers. We’re into trendsetting and trend spotting, and absolutely LOVE to shine a spotlight on the “up + coming.”
Lucky for us, we’ve had opportunities to work with amazing artists and have also helped nurture and support burgeoning talent. Wicked Peacock loves collaborating with creative people and is excited when BIG things happen. Everyone involved in the process has an important role to play, and as a team, magic happens.
Recently, we had the pleasure to work with the amazingly photogenic Daniela Fei—introduced to us by Liana Krupp formerly of The New Brahmin. We talked with Daniela about her future modeling career while on set of a recent shoot featuring clothes by emerging Boston fashion designer, Meghan Doyle. Blessed by a rare opportunity to shoot on location at Louis Boston, we enjoyed all the store has to offer, including 180 degree views of Boston’s skyline overlooking the Harbor. We all had a great time, and were especially excited to work with such a fresh face. Daniela equally enjoyed the shoot. “I loved the opportunity to wear fun, interesting clothing and accessories by designers who are just starting out, like me. Also everyone on the Wicked Peacock team has such a fun vibe.”
Daniela became interested in modeling through her family. “I was introduced to fashion at a very early age by my aunt, who is like a second mother. She works at Louis Boston and she would often take me to work with her. Also, my sister, Alessandra, dabbled in modeling while in high school, and I loved seeing her transformation from being my sister to this glamour girl. I always dreamed of doing the same.” Daniela’s favorite models include Gisele Bundchen, Kate Moss and most recently the Jenner sisters. “It’s easier for me to relate to them because, like me, they’re teens. I enjoy reading their posts and I follow them on Instagram and in magazines.”
Her go-to accessories are earrings, and Daniela LOVES the La Dame earrings by NYX Studio on Wicked Peacock. “They’re feminine but edgy at the same time, you can wear them with anything but, I think they would be really cool in an unexpected way with jeans and a great top.”
